What you should know

You will have to manage your transportation from Karakol to the Jyrgalan village or Karakol pickup point and return by your own unless you request transfer service from us.

You should understand that snowmobile seat can carry a driver and a single passenger. Second rider will have to lift holding a rope. This is quite easy for skiers and a bit tricky for snowboarders which requires a good strength and some experience.

Riding backcountry means high risks in getting trauma. Some slopes are avalanche-dangerous. Riding such areas requires an avalanche beacon, shovel and a probe, plus you should never ride alone and have an experienced guide within your group.

You will be transferred from a pickup point (village or parking) to the skiing area with snowmobile towing or as a seat passenger. It requires some skills and strength to be towed with a snowmobile uphill. Transfer distance is approximately 5 km for Jyrgalan and 10 km for Karakol.

This service is pretty much expandable with guided or self-guided skitouring from the highest drop-off point.
