Deepest Early-Season Snow in Kyrgyzstan
Jyrgalan Valley is world-famous among the international ski community for receiving the earliest and most consistent snowfalls in the Tien Shan range. Starting in mid-November, moisture channeled across Lake Issyk-Kul hits the eastern mountain wall, dumping light, dry powder in massive quantities.
Our Jyrgalan Yurt Lodge Basecamp provides the ideal combination of backcountry yurt authenticity and logistical convenience—allowing skiers to tour directly from the yurts into multiple surrounding drainage zones (Tyup, Heights, and Chaar-Jon).
Camp Facilities & Accommodation
- Spacious 4-to-6 Person Yurts: Traditional round construction with thick felt walls, heavy wood stoves, and comfortable individual single beds with fresh linen.
